  Adverse weather driver training

In Britain we experience such variable weather conditions that often they take the motorist by complete surprise.
This problem usually highlights areas of weakness in our driving and the condition of our vehicle, often with tragic consequences.

The Lion Adverse Weather course seeks to inform the driver  of the key aspects of driving in bad weather. The course is mainly designed to be a theory based course but every effort is made to make use of any bad weather prevailing at the time.

The course also covers some basic vehicle
maintenance procedures to minimise the risks
of being involved in an accident or breakdown
and the types of equipment which would be
 essential for winter driving etc.

The course seeks to draw the driver's attention to the effects of driver fatigue and tiredness and how to deal with them.
Those on the course will be given advice on how to handle various types of skid. We can even arrange for you to try your skill on a skid pan, which is in a controlled and monitored environment and often lots of fun.

So raise your level of knowledge and expertise and speak to us about one of our Adverse Weather courses.
